Liberalism is the problem. In the book called The Forgotten Man by Amity Shlaes, the author describes the American intellectuals who thought communism was the answer to man’s problems. They took trips to Russia and wrote profusely about communism’s greatness. When they found they couldn’t make headway as a third party in the USA, they targeted the Democratic Party as their means to their ends. Their efforts have been fruitful in the US for over 50 years now, and with the new president they stand to make great gains for their cause. He will spend trillions of taxpayer dollars to advance the agenda of radical leftism in the USA. The Democratic congress of the last 3 years is the prime culprit for today’s financial meltdown. Yes there were some non-Congressional criminals in the financial world too.

The Community Reinvestment Act of 1977 has been building the financial crisis for a long time, and especially over the last 10 years has reached its pinnacle of bad effect. Activist groups pressured banks to make loans to people who had no way of paying them back. If the banks didn’t agree, they would be subject to abuse from these activist groups. They were the target of sit-ins, and calumnies of every kind especially the accusation of racism. This is the main reason for the financial meltdown, and the scourge of foreclosures nation wide.

An even deeper root to the crisis is the notion of entitlements. This mentality is also in direct contradiction to the 10th Commandment: Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor’s goods. The left constantly foments class warfare. There are many differences, but there are also many similarities of today’s USA with France of the late 17th century, especially in terms of widespread class warfare. At that time in France, the nobles and aristocrats paid no taxes and all the taxation fell upon the commoners. This is not the case in today’s USA, where the wealthiest Americans provide an extremely high percentage of the nation’s tax revenues. But those wealthiest Americans also take chances and start businesses, and hire employees. And yet there is this widespread fomenting of hatred towards people of wealth. The wealthy that anger me are those Democrats the president appointed to important positions only to be denied because of their failure to pay their fair share of taxes. The corruption of the Democratic party is coming out of the woodwork!

Liberalism is not the way of a free and virtuous society. Liberalism produces the culture of death.

Conservatism is the way for a free and virtuous society. Liberals have long accused Conservatives of not caring for the poor. That is a lie. Conservatives by far are the most generous, charitable people in the country. And it also not true that Conservatives are “the rich”. More and more, the rich liberals are running society. And let’s not forget about left Hollywood whose dollars are nearly all going to liberal candidates. Anymore, Conservatives are the average man, and represent the average family.

So, Conservatives unite against liberalism run amok. Unite against huge spending bills that become law without even allowing the members of congress to read it. Let’s unite against massive wasteful government spending of our tax dollars. Let’s unite against the generational theft by the liberal administration and congress.

And if you want to help poor children beyond what you can give in generous charity of time, talent, and treasure, support programs that support the 2 parent family which is key to their children’s future, and key to their children doing the things they need to do to become active participants in the economy they will be a part of in the future. Help them learn good habits and get the most out of their education. Encourage them to make good use their time by studying and learning. Help them to learn it is not right to covet their neighbors’ goods. Help them to learn it is important for them to become responsible adults who are able to provide for themselves and their families.
